This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit alsatauto.com (the “Site”), visit our dealership, apply for financing, contact us, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Identifiers:name, postal address, email address, telephone number, driver's license number, date of birth, signature.
- Financial information: Social Security number, income, employment information, banking information, and credit history (collected in connection with credit and financing applications).
- Vehicle information: trade-in details, VIN, mileage, vehicle preferences, and service history.
- Communications: messages, inquiries, test-drive requests, and reviews you submit.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent, and clickstream data.
- Cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5).
- Approximate geolocation derived from IP address.

We do notsell your personal information for money. However, certain online tracking activity (such as advertising cookies) may qualify as “selling” or “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). See Section 6 for your rights and how to opt out.
4. Sensitive Personal Information
We collect certain sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, and financial account information, solely for the purposes of completing vehicle transactions, financing, identity verification, and legal compliance. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant advertising. Categories include:

We will respond within 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension as permitted by law.
Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83): California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes by emailing contact@alsatauto.com.
7. Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) Notice
Because we offer financing, we are a “financial institution” under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. We collect nonpublic personal information from credit applications, credit reports, and transaction history. We share this information only as permitted by law, including with lenders to process your financing. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect this information. A separate GLBA Privacy Notice is provided to financing customers at the time of application.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal and regulatory obligations (including California DMV recordkeeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting California residents, we will provide notification as required by California Civil Code § 1798.82.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (lenders, manufacturers, vehicle history reports). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies separately.
12. Communications and TCPA Consent
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Alsat Auto, including via automated dialing systems and prerecorded messages, regarding vehicles, financing, service, and promotions. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages, or contact us at contact@alsatauto.com.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted prominently on the Site.
